Amalá of Xangô
Okra-based food, offered to Xangô.
Amalá is the dish offered to Xangô, prepared with chopped okra sauteed with onions, dried shrimp, and dendê palm oil. In our house, it is served to the orixá in a wooden bowl lined with yam purée.

Amalá of Xangô
All activities performed within the terreiro must be done according to what the elders have taught.
The activities of the terreiros take place in a collective way, as in this sequence of the preparation of the acaçá, in which the older women teach the younger ones, and thus our traditions and origins remain alive.

Preserving the sacred
From an early age, all the people initiated into the terreiro learn to care for and preserve the sacred objects.
The community is strengthened when everyone cooperates and helps each other, in all tasks.
Candomblé is about welcoming and respecting everyone. And that is why we become one family.

The sacred
The ultimate goal of all efforts is the sacred worship of African ancestry.
A candomblé community is strengthened and resists through its ancestral traditions, based on respect and love for the sacred, nature, and humanity.
