The Nebrija University
The Nebrija Educational Project has its origins in the Centro de Estudios Hispánicos, founded in 1985. This first institution, created by Manuel Villa-Cellino and Belén Moreno de los Ríos with the collaboration of academics and intellectuals, was the seed of the current Nebrija University.

The Nebrija Foundation
The mission of the Nebrija Foundation is to contribute to the improvement of Spanish and international society through the promotion of activities related to university teaching and research.

It has promoted, together with other institutions, the creation, implementation and official recognition of the University of Nebrija. It promotes scholarships for students in all types of educational programs and contributes to the creation of agreements with prestigious companies.

The Foundation also develops research projects and collaborates with other companies and institutions in the fields of linguistics, Spanish teaching methodology, social, legal and economic sciences, communication sciences, and engineering.

V Centenary of Antonio de Nebrija
It was an initiative promoted by the Nebrija Foundation to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of the great Spanish exponent of humanism. The political agreement allowed this event to be declared an "event of exceptional public interest" by the Spanish Congress.

Nebrija Spanish Language Observatory
Created within the framework of the celebrations of the V Centenary of Nebrija, but with a permanent vocation. It works to broaden the horizon of the use and projection of the Spanish language in the world, through the elaboration of scientific analyses and the presentation of proposals.

The Observatory conducts research in different areas: The relationship between language and migratory movements; Language as a driving factor in the internationalization of companies; The path of cultural industries that have Spanish as their main support; or Policies and strategies for the promotion of Spanish on a global scale.

The Observatory is the result of the collaboration of academics from different universities in Spain, Europe and the Americas with representatives from different cultural industries. This makes it a unique meeting point between academics and professionals.
