What is Navroz?
´A month long celebration begins with deep cleansing the house, preparing sprouts & the beautiful Sofreh Haft Sin which holds the 7 symbolic items is accompanied by celebrations & on Sizdah Bedar, the 13th day after Navroz, a family picnic.´

Proud of their Parsi Costumes
Hand-Embroidered Garas are a marker of community identity. Here, we see the ladies of Houston keeping this tradition alive on Navroz.
Houston has become a centre of the Zoroastrian community and brings together people from Asia in Intercultural dialogue.
