METAMORPHOSIS

This exhibition in Seoul searches for meaningful core patterns by revisiting this triangular relationship to encourage diverse discussions about humanity in an age of uncertainty.

By ELEKTRA

What kind of individual or societal transformations will follow the global pandemic? METAMORPHOSIS refers to one of the classics Book of Changes (I Ching) and proposes that the fundamental meaning and reason behind constant change is to broaden our understanding of the relationship between humanity, nature and the machine. According to the Book of Changes, while human society is in constant transformation, and everything is subject to change, at the same time there is a core that never changes. It is therefore possible to foresee the future by understanding this core, profoundly.
The exhibition was on show at Hyundai Motor Studio Seoul from June 15 to November 2020.
