A record with the first recording made in Portugal was given to Banda da Armada, a formation whose predecessor - the Banda dos Marinheiros da Armada - participated in it playing "Cantos populares Portugueses".
The album, recorded on April 3, 1903, was given by Carlos Alberto Alves da Cunha Cutileiro, son of Alberto Cutileiro, its original owner, who died in November 2003, at the age of 88.
