A Plaza born from community

Quisqueya Plaza replaced a Dyckman parking lot, creating a lively, car-free zone that spotlights Dominican identity. Driven by community activism, the plaza hosts markets, arts, and live performances, enriching neighborhood culture and unity in Upper Manhattan.

Dominican Taste Festival

Since 2022, Quisqueya Plaza has hosted the Dominican Taste Festival, spotlighting local cuisine, music, and community. The event celebrates Dominican culture and strengthens ties through shared flavors and collective joy.
