Studio Project

The Studio project took place in 2015, and provided our students with learning disabilities an opportunity to develop their skills in specific art forms and mediums including portraiture, landscape painting and still life.

Led by professional artists students were encouraged to expand on their creativity and skill base which included use of pastels, watercolours, inks and acrylics. Using these different mediums students experimented in portraiture, perspective and collage.

Portraiture

Students enjoyed creating portraits and self-portraits using media including paint and wax resist, charcoal, pencil and acrylic paint.
