A Range of Products
Handwork has a great advantage over machine made goods in that a much greater variety of products can be designed and made. Small quantities of production suit smaller orders or a niche group of customers. Replication in large numbers is also simple with patchwork since the pieces are layered and cut together. Once the pattern or motif is secured, only neat stitching remains. It is for this reason that Purkal Stree Shakti Samiti is able to design and create many products.

A Special Range for Children
At Purkal Stree Shakti Samiti, the product range produced depends largely, on the selection of prints, and colours used in the design. Christmas motifs suit the festive season, while a wide range of children’s room décor is a favourite that is not very easily available in handwork. The quality of work is so high that all the products are very competitive in the international market. Stree Shakti offers a range of quilts specially designed for small children. The designs of quilts range from eclectic to traditional to geometric.
