The mud

The use of clay (aliminosilicate mineral of great abundance and special properties) is almost as old as the existence of man on Earth, an has accompanied him in his daily activities.

Ceramics

Currently, the word ceramic designates the immense set of products made from aluminosilicates transformed by the action of fire.

Uses of the mud

Man's life had to be transformed by acquiring the ability to make earthen tools, from vessels and ritual objects, bricks and tiles for construction.

Evolution

TRES RIOS, ARCHIVOS COMPARTIDOS A.C.

Bringing together their academic backgrounds in art history, literature, visual arts, graphic design, anthropology and journalism, Adalberto, Ernesto and Adalberto, los 3Ríos, are academics from the University of Morelos who use photography as one of their main working tools.

Since more than 30 years

The three have devoted themselves to registering aspects of the biodiversity and cultural plurality of Mexico, Latin America and other latitudes, uniting the necessary documentation, to integrate an archive of one and a half million images destined for teaching activities.
