No Poverty
Since 1990, more than 1 billion people escaped poverty but Covid has halted this progress. Real progress is possible but this will only happen if we tackle the root causes of poverty and leave no-one behind.
Goal 1 is an end to extreme poverty.
Zero Hunger
Children are on the frontlines of hunger.
Food shapes their future - their health, their wealth, their contribution to our world. But every year, 3 million children die from hunger.
Zero hunger can and must be a reality.
Goal 2 is an end to hunger and malnutrition for good.
Good Health & Well-Being
More children now live to see their first birthday than at any time in history – yet more than 1.5 million people worldwide still die from vaccine-preventable diseases every year.
Goal 3 is good quality healthcare for all.
Quality Education
Education is poverty’s greatest enemy – it’s a vaccine against poverty.
If a child’s mother can read, the child is twice as likely to live past the age of five.
Goal 4 is a decent education for everyone.
Gender Equality
Only ten countries in the world permit women the same legal rights as men.
Goal 5 is equal representation, equal rights and full power over their own lives for all women and girls.
Clean Water & Sanitation
The number of people with no access to clean water is falling - but way too slowly.
1 in 3 people still don’t have access to safe drinking water.
1 in 4 don’t have a decent toilet of their own.
Goal 6 is safe drinking water and sanitation for everyone.
Affordable & Clean Energy
The amount of power from the sun that strikes the Earth in a single hour is more than the entire world uses in a year.
Affordable and renewable energy for everyone would be a global game changer.
Goal 7 is energy for everyone without destroying our planet.
Decent Work & Economic Growth
In 2020, Covid cost workers around the world $3.7 trillion in lost earnings.
In one year, 114 million people lost their jobs.
But history shows us that after catastrophe comes opportunity for change.
Goal 8 is an economy that works for people and for planet.
Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure
Innovation has changed the world.
From morse code to mobile phones.
From antibiotics to vaccines.
Our best ideas can change the world – let’s make sure they do.
Goal 9 is industry, innovation & infrastructure working for everyone.
Reduced Inequalities
Inequality is the single thing most holding back progress in the world.
The time for hesitation is – the time for equality is NOW.
Goal 10 is everyone equal no matter who you are or where you live.
Sustainable Cities & Communities
The world’s cities occupy just 3% of the Earth’s land – but more than half the people in the world live in them.
Goal 11 is cities with clean air, green spaces, connected communities and good housing.
Responsible Consumption & Production
If food loss and waste were a country, it would be the third biggest source of greenhouse gas emissions.

Goal 12 is learning how to consume less and produce better.
Climate Action
The threat of climate change to our civilization is not a future projection. It’s happening right now.
And we DESPERATELY need our leaders to act FASTER.

Life Below Water
Our oceans hold 97% of all our water. They produce at least 50% of the oxygen we breathe.
But we’re destroying them.

Life on Land
Our planet is incredible. It’s vital to our lives and livelihoods – our homes, our health, what we eat, the air we breathe.
But it’s at risk and it’s our fault.
Goal 15 is protecting our land and nurturing our planet’s plants, forests, insects and animals.
Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions
Almost 80 million people have been forced to flee their homes because of war, conflict or persecution.
And it’s man-made. We need our leaders to work for peace, not war.
Goal 16 is peace, justice and governments that work for us all.
