The jewellery designer takes inspiration from his home between the Simssee and Chiemsee lakes. Summit crosses are full of symbolism for achieving goals and serve as a template for the jewellery creations.

From classic wedding rings and bracelets to pendants shaped like summit crosses and lederhosen pins for waistcoats—the Rosenheim native creates unique jewellery pieces, and focuses on his homeland in his designs. He is continuing an old tradition at the same time. Goldsmithing has been widespread in Bavaria since the 18th century.

In his jewellery workshop, the artist finishes sketches, shapes models out of wax, and then works on prototypes of his new ideas with his team.

The artist takes inspiration from the landscape of his Bavarian home. The Mamma Bavaria Summit Cross collection represents the summits of the Alpine region.

He wants to capture the history of his homeland in his handicrafts, so that they can be passed down over centuries.

The result is pieces of jewellery with strong symbols like the Bavarian lion or Bavaria itself, or bracelets finished in the style of Goaßln (whips).

Designer Florian Blickenberger's showroom is a place for meeting and chatting, and visiting it is like taking a trip around the world: antiques, furniture, unique inventory, and nostalgic lamps hang from the ceiling of the long room.
