FRYING PANS

In the 1980s, aluminum frying pans appeared, featuring an interior with a non-stick coating called Teflon. Its purpose is to prepare dishes with little to no fat or grease. Vasconia, always up to date to offer the best cookware, launched pans on the market after perfecting this non-stick coating: Teflon II. Their guarantee: "nothing sticks to them and they can easily be washed just by rinsing."
When using these pans, care must be taken not to subject them to high temperatures, as this destroys the coating. As soon as the surface suffers any damage, they must be discarded. As a collector of kitchen utensils, I must say that these frying pans do not cover the indispensable requirement of durability. At used utensil markets, you can find a large amount of them already categorized as waste—and no brand is exempt.
ROASTING PAN

Made of aluminum with a non-stick coating and rectangular in shape, the function of the grate is to catch the meat juices. Only this coating does not withstand the demands of everyday cooking. With the appearance of new cooking utensils, they require instructions for their proper use and, if possible, an appealing recipe book to encourage their purchase.
MOLDS

In addition to the already known molds, those with a non-stick Teflon coating have arrived on the market. Rectangular molds for making foie, vegetable and meat terrines. Also, the classic round mold for baking cakes, already with a non-stick coating inside.
SANDWICH PRESS

With a non-stick coating and appearing later than the existing aluminum versions, this tool was created for a new way of eating food: ham, cheese, etc. between two slices of bread. To use this utensil, it was recommended to grease the cooking surfaces with butter, margarine or oil, in addition to not using metal fibers or abrasive detergents for cleaning.
