Flowing Like Waterfalls performance
Flowing Like Waterfalls was a 20-minute performance that approached the power of water's fluidity as a means to explore the body, gender, sexuality, and the relationship of water with life, forests, and ecosystems.

About Seba Calfuqueo
Seba Calfuqueo is from Mapuche origin who lives and works in Santiago, Chile.
Their work appeals to propose a critical reflection on the social, cultural, and political status of the Mapuche subject in contemporary Chilean society and Latin America.

Seba's work includes installations, ceramics, performances, and video art that explore cultural similarities, differences, and the stereotypes produced by the cross between Indigenous and Western ways of thinking.
Additionally, Seba Calfuqueo is part of the Mapuche collective Rangitulewf, which edits YeneRevista, an online magazine of art, thought, and writing in Wallmapu and AbyaYala language.

Along with Seba's Flowing Like Waterfalls performance, this Time-Released program also included a video installation and panel discussion which took place on August 26 and 29, 2023.
About Converge 45
Converge 45 is a non-profit arts organization that produces a Contemporary Arts Biennial in Portland, Oregon. In collaboration with the dynamic arts community in Portland, Converge 45 develops a city-wide exhibition across the metropolitan area every two years.
