To live, produce heat, energy and perform its functions, the body must be powered by an adequate flow of matter (food: solid and liquid food).
With the diet we can introduce organic compounds that we cannot produce (such as vitamins) or other components that we can split and digest by obtaining the compounds necessary for life.
Once placed in the mouth, foods take a trip along approximately 24-48 hours, which undergo a series of chemical and physical treatments to separate and direct the useful substances in the metabolism.
"FIND THE RIGHT FOODS"
This macro installation wants to highlight the importance of proper food choices for maintaining optimal health status. At the multitouch table, two visitors can compete by choosing the proper diet for a specific activity.
Food and activities are offered randomly. The activities to be carried out may be hindered by a series of random factors or determined by the opponent, this only makes the game more interesting it allows you to highlight the links with other systems.
At the end of the game, visitors receive feedback on the choices made with the correct or corrective choices to be highlighted.
"WHAT TO EAT?"
In this exhibit the visitor can take some dishes (empty but with a QR code), close to a screen with integrated video camera. On the screen the visitor will be able to mirror himself and see, through augmented reality, the food contained in the plate: a hamburger, chips and beer, a plate of pasta or a bowl of muesli.
The screen will also retain additional information on the nutritional values of the dish and if the choice made is consistent with a healthy diet.
"THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET"
On a large touch screen, the visitor is invited to play by choosing from a variety of foods to ingest. The aim is to find out how to compose a well-balanced meal and to healthy a nutritionally correct diet.
Also thanks to insights into food and correct eating behavior: everyone knows, for example, that a food, once defrosted, must be consumed quickly and cannot be frozen again, but why?
