On the wall of time pt. 1 by Enos RizziMuseo d'Arte Moderna dell'Alto Mantovano
Example of the free aesthetic adventure of Enos Rizzi
We move on the line of the fragment's poetics,
on the practice of taking from everyday life, on the use of material marked by other lives or by chances that have made it no more a noble matter, on shreds of paper and non-paper pages, in a continuous dialogue with the most updated pictorial languages.
Enos meditates, seeks and has fun and in the meantime writes, with dark calligraphic traces, while the memory of painting stretches, irrepressible, even on yellowed sketch sheets that, over time, have replaced the posters, and on the tables of registers stolen from a remote age.

And while it touches the matter of wrinkled inked papers,
while following the sequence of the wounds of the rips, while thinking about the positioning of cutouts and tatters
periodically the hand renews and experiments, creative in fertile way, the combination of the charm of the material added to the inexhaustible charisma of the colors and lights of the representation.
The surface is organized and reorganized, refers to the inescapable rituals of the poetic composition, to physical materials bearing their expressive emotion which, in the amalgam, is transformed into signifiers open to multiple meanings.
This is how a sort of chaotic variety offers new and alienating icons.
