West Hollywood, California
Bob performed two concerts in Los Angeles during this tour. The first was a small show at his favorite venue, the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. The band was too big to be playing in this small 500-cap room, but Bob liked the energy there.
The audio from this set later become the "Live At The Roxy" audio release. Here we see him backstage with Donald Kinsey (guitar) and Alvin "Seeco" Patterson (percussion) before the show.
Los Angeles, California
The second LA show was a much larger gig at the Shrine Auditorium downtown. Island Records was making a big U.S. push for the Rastaman Vibration album–which peaked at #8 on the Billboard Charts–so they purchased a billboard in support of the show and record.
