Daniel Silva, 41 years old, was born in São Paulo and currently lives in Natal. In addition to being a dancer, he has worked as a social advisor in the city since 2017. He is also the founder of Cia. Movidos Dança, which was created in 2018 in partnership with artistic director

He started dancing in 2008. At the time, he was training basketball, and a friend from the team invited him to take a class offered by Cia. Gira Dança, under the guidance of choreographer Anderson Leão.

In Daniel's words: "Even without understanding why, I felt that I had found myself there. I started going day after day, skipping basketball practice, and soon I realized that I could no longer leave."

Daniel was part of Cia. Gira Dança from 2008 to 2011. After leaving the group, he participated in several theatrical projects, including an extension program at UFRN.

After several years away from the artistic scene, in 2018, Daniel reunited with Anderson, and together they created "Entreaberto", based on The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.

The work was presented at Itaú Cultural in São Paulo, and after the performance, what was meant to be just a celebration of their reunion turned into the creation of Movidos Dança.

The group is dedicated to the study of movement, with an increasingly open proposal to foster and offer the cultural scene a space of possibilities for the artistic stage with diverse bodies.

In 2022, the company created the performance "Nuvem de Pássaros", presented that year in both a live version and a film, which was showcased through the Prêmio Festival Funarte Acessibilidança Virtual 2021.

"Nuvem de Pássaros" is a performance inspired by the migrations of birds and their shared flight paths, reflecting on collectivity and the conflicts of society. The piece explores social behavior and individual differences, highlighting the strength of unity in facing challenges.
