The Inner Court, the Center of Royal Thai Cuisine

Early in the Rattanakosin Era, Royal Thai Cuisine was centered in the Grand Palace. Ladies in waiting were in charge of the royal kitchen. During the reign of King Rama VI, this custom was changed. Saisavali Bhiromya was responsible for the royal kitchen.
