Garden beds change seasonally. This year, fushcia and cranberry mums were added to brighten the area for fall weddings.
The Fountains are spraying from summer through fall and are a favorite spot for kids to frolic on warm summer days.
An array of perennial color brightens the Wisteria covered Covert loggia and pavilion. Huge hanging baskets of annuals accentuate the graceful arches.
Islands of mixed shrubs, grasses and perennials flank the fountains at the rear of the garden.
The fall of 1994 saw the completion of the Fountain Garden and the dedication of the fountains, provided by funds donated by the Winnebago County Garden Center. The Woodward Governor Company dedicated the loggia and pavilion in memory of past CEO Calvin C. Covert.
