The calm before the storm and man's futile endeavors amidst a howling storm, all contrasted by quiet waters. This gallery shows a few facets of a timeless jewel of immeasurable splendor, the Ocean. Its constant turmoil often reflects our own as waves toss, and turn and tides rise and fall; but are soon followed by glassy surfaces of smooth liquid.
