Though probably not quite as ubiquitous as the original Instamatic, the pocket Instamatics sold just as briskly, and are likely as representative of the late 1970s as any other camera. This was the donor's own camera and it bears her own initials in the appropriate spot. She saved not only the original yellow box it came in, but she also saved the instruction manual, service location list, and a sheet that describes the problem of "red eye."
