The Eastern Black Sea Region is the most mountainous part of the Black Sea Region, as well as the one receiving the most rainfall and with the highest rates of humidity. The locals earn their living through fishing and agriculture. It is also the region with the greatest harvests of tea, hazelnuts, and corn, as well as being the most difficult area to reach.
