Al-Jalabi House:
One of the oldest houses in the city of Mosul. It is particularly located in the eastern region of the old city of Mosul. Until the 1920s, it was the only house in the al-Toualib region as shown in the image of the British army at that time. It was a complex of houses. This is the only one left so far. The main material used in construction is the material called "Al-Farish'. There is a special place for livestock raising and it can be reached via an external stairway.
The house contains, as usual, all the facilities in the old Maslawi house. It depends on the idea of the regular square-like area in the middle, and there are several halls around it. There are also rooms and a store called a basement on two levels. The first is a very low level of food storage for long time periods. Another level is used for seating and daily use.
