The E.E. Fairchild Corporation of Rochester, NY had a long history of producing toys and games from the early years of the 20th century until the 1970s, at least. The firm became known, during its early years, for high quality games with timely themes--it produced a game about Tutankhamun's tomb shortly after that discovery. In later years, shifting production from Churchville, NY back to Rochester, the firm's offerings became less specialized and more inexpensive. Probably one of the last items produced was a series of "Mini Puzzles," jigsaw puzzles with 84 pieces measuring only 8 1/2 by 5 inches when assembled. Some of the packages are marked "courtesy of American Airlines," so they were likely offered as a premium to passengers.
