This photo was taken in the little Famaillá school, Tucuman, the first detention and torture center of the civic-military dictatorship in Argentina. There they tortured prisoners that were later sent to Pozo de Vargas, in the outskirts of San Miguel de Tucuman, to be dumped in a well and covered with debris. A few prisoners died in the same school. According to the information provided by the staff in charge of the Espacio de Memoria, this room was probably used as a morgue.
