This letter was sent from Muneshige to his former vassals in December, probably 1620, informing that he regained the position of the feudal lord of the Yanagawa domain with worth of 109,647 koku of rice crop, and he would return to Yanagawa during the beginning of next year. He also expressed his joy in this letter.

After Muneshige left Yanagawa due to the defeat of the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, Tanaka Yoshimasa became the lord of the Yanagawa domain. However, Yoshimasa was deprived of his position and territory because he had no heir. Accordingly, Muneshige was reappointed to the lord of the Yanagawa domain.
