Most of the former vassals of the Lord Tachibana of the Yanagawa domain were temporarily hired by the Lord Kato of the Kumamoto domain. However, only Komono Masutoki went to the Chikuzen domain to depend on the Lord Kuroda. This likely caused distrust of Masatoki among the vassals.
This letter was sent from the Lord Tachibana Muneshige to Masutoki in 1601, saying that he understood Masatoki’s decision.
