Takahashi Johun (1548-86) was the father of Tachibana Muneshige, the first lord of the Yanagawa domain.
Johun was a vassal of the Otomo clan dominating the northern part of Kyushu region. He was appointed jotoku in charge of Iwaya Castle by the Otomo clan.
In 1586, the castle was besieged by the large army of Shimazu. As a result, he committed suicide in the castle.
