Seksaria Building: Street corner view

Street corner view of Seksaria building, an Art Deco apartment building situated on Netaji Shubash Chandra Bose Road along Marine Drive. This magnificent family home was built by Govindram Seksaria, once the 'Cotton King of the World'. Locomotive-like balconies, continuous eyebrows and vertical banding details are some of the striking features easily visible on the building facade.

This building is a part of 'The Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai', a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was inscribed to the list on June 30, 2018.
