Students in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Sciences at Yeditepe University learn about the effects of Turkish cultural interactions and changes that take place globally and locally, and their effects on the culinary culture.
Due to the geographical features of the region, the houses are scattered on the hills and are surrounded by lush areas. Traditional houses are generally made of wood. These houses, to which access is generally not very easy, are sometimes only accessible on foot through narrow paths.
