This is a pendant made of a round thin plate, on the right side of which there is a triangular protrusion in the form of a stylized snake head. The surface of the pendant is decorated with ornamental belts of grains, pearls, and wavy strips. In the center there is an onyx insert with a miniature image of Eros, made in the technique of intaglio (stone carving with a recessed image).
The shape of the stone, the style and technique of the image are characteristic of Roman gems of the 2nd – 3rd centuries.
