Now on the sixth floor of Ayala Museum, FHL is a special library focusing on Philippine history, culture, and art. It aims to be the leader in digital librarianship in the Philippines. FHL was the first library in the country to digitize and make available to the public its photo and music collections; to create an online directory of Filipiniana libraries; and to share its expertise in building community libraries. FHL has conducted training for teachers and librarians, as well as research for exhibits and performances. It has published books and CD-ROMs on Philippine history and culture. Currently, FHL seeks to make its digitized rare book collection accessible to as many students and scholars as possible.
