Launched in 2016, Vibrance is a London based costume band who focus on producing unique, high quality designs, with good customer service and strong environmental ethics.

Vibrance take a contemporary approach to their designs, whilst still heavily influenced by traditional mas. They work with the renowned artist Carl Gabriel and the late Uncle Lincoln to ensure they keep carnival traditions alive through using art to create a story, narrative or message.

Last year Vibrance set up a competition to find Official DJs for the band. The judges included 1xtra and DJ Markie. The UK Winners were DJ Championboss and DJ Kronixx who now represent the band in the USA having their own "Vibrance" show.

Vibrance take pride that masqueraders travel to the UK from around the world: the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, USA and Europe.

Being a family band, they have cultivated a friendly environment where many people feel happy attending each year.

The band was created by Cee (pictured, centre), and she is now the designer, producer and organiser of the band.

The Future of Vibrance Mas
Looking towards the future, Vibrance would like to create costumes which take a more artistic approach, with artistic designs which think outside the box and bring something new to the band, whilst still upholding rooting in the traditions of mas.

Vibrance believe in community, and they want everyone to leave their footprint in the band, even if they are not able to be on the road.

Vibrance’s mas theme for 2021/22 is the Coral Reef. Coral reefs are massively important for islands as they protect coastlines from storms and erosion, which has influenced their choice of colours, textures and recycled materials to create structure and movement in their costumes.
