As havens of learning and bastions of culture, museums are incredibly important places both for present and future generations. Over the years, philanthropists, governments and people have come together to build museums dedicated to everything from art and architecture to relationships, parasites, funerals and toilets.
In many cases, the buildings constructed to house these collections are just as beautiful, and just as important, as the objects and ideas they contain. Here are two 3D experiences of a pair of iconic museum structures.

Designed by acclaimed Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum is located in the city of Niterói, which sits on the Guanabara Bay, opposite Rio de Janeiro. Completed in 1996, the gallery has an instantly recognizable saucer design. Incredibly elegant, it offers sweeping views of Rio and the surrounding watery landscape.
