Monção is a village set on one of the banks of the Minho river, located on the border with Spain. This is the place where Bienal de Cerveira/Cerveira Biennial has taken place since 1978.

20 artists (10 Portuguese and 10 Spanish), generationally close, thus embody an exhibition that is diversified in languages, but intensified in messages, combining painting, sculpture and the version of the conceptual expansion of both, but also video, photography and new generic and installation media.
