CICATRICI
Forty-two statues, forty-two stories. Many more, actually, because every story becomes everyone's story. And every scar becomes everyone's scar.
Each statue is placed on a black plinth, which bears the title of the work and a descriptive text written by the author, anonymously. A labyrinth of statues and plinths, which ends with a wall of faces, portraits, with a mirror in the middle that reminds each visitor that he is also part of the exhibition.

The exhibition in Catania, in July 2019, was distributed along a double corridor in which the plinths and statues were arranged, alongside the preliminary sketches.
As well as at the Triennale, meetings with urban and neighborhood realities were also organized at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Catania during the opening days of the exhibition, to learn not only about human scars but also to explore those of the territory.
