“I will be celebrating Pride this year through activism. Racism within the queer community still exists and so does transphobia hence we need to constantly check our privilege and educate ourselves. That’s the way forward to support one another.” - Méfi, Brighton

CHLOE HASHEMI (She/her):

Chloe works in music, shooting festivals and gigs and working with musicians directly. She also shoots a lot of theatre and drag through working with the Brighton Fringe.

Chloe said: "For some reason, I've not had many opportunities to involve my identity as a bi woman in my work so far. I jumped at the chance of working alongside a group of talented queer people across the country to capture the resilience, pride and beauty of our community. I was especially keen to get involved at a time when I have been unable to use my camera much."

“As I come from a country where the most LGBTI + population in the world is killed (Brazil), Pride for me means not to be afraid and consequently it means to be free and to be proud of myself. I will celebrate at home, respecting social distance, but meditating and studying how to help build a world where fundamental rights are the rule, especially in poorer countries where the LGBTI + population has less access to basic rights.” - Ramon, Brighton
