The Musicians in Schools Program
This program provides lectures, demonstrations, masterclasses, music clinics and hands-on activities. Our musicians and staff help bring instruction and inspiration to musical enthusiasts of all ages.
Broadcast with Georgia Public Broadcasting
In 2018, the ASO and GPB teamed up to create a program to teach kids about the orchestra through a virtual field-trip to one of the Concerts for Young People. This was free to educators and students across the state and included interactive quizzes and polls.

The Instrument Petting Zoo
The Instrument Petting Zoo is a hands-on activity which introduces children to the instrument families of the orchestra. This interactive learning experience provides opportunities for children to examine a variety of instruments and learn to play them.
The ASO strives to provide access to classical music to children of all ages and backgrounds.
