Daisy Mae is a Junior Campaign Manager at Platoon and founder of One88 Agency.

What have been the key drivers in your career growth so far?

'My journey in the music industry has been very insightful. I left a major label to start my own agency and became a junior marketing manager at Platoon. I've been able to watch and learn from so many amazing executives in music who have inspired me to get to where I am today.'

What are your career goals for next year?

'I hope to work on more marketing campaigns with artists and I'm aiming to step into building more international marketing strategies that bridge the gap across the UK and Africa beyond music.'

What insight would you share with aspiring executives?

'Keep learning, even when you think you know an area or space, challenge yourself, learn something new. The music industry can be very intimidating, but don't be scared to reach out to people and connect, there are so many friendly people just an email away!'

Do you have a motto that helps you persevere in your role?

'You're here for a reason. I think everyone has times where imposter syndrome comes in or things get really challenging and I remind myself that I'm here for a reason, I wanted this for so long so I can do this and more!'

'Having a community to fall back on and working with a really great team. These have been so important because it helps so much working with people that champion your ideas no matter how big or small!'

'Ask bare questions because being confused is not it and lean on your colleagues whenever you feel like you need to, I promise everyone's winged it at some points.'
