Pose and the Popularization of Ball Culture

The 2018 hit show, Pose, also reignited mass appeal for ballroom. The series starred queer and trans people of color in the New York ballroom scene—the show was met with critical acclaim  and propelled ballroom to the forefront of the cultural zeitgeist in the Orange era.
