Characteristics of her art work
Her works are characterized by the use of warm colors, an energetic brushstroke and a drawing of sensitive lines, characteristics that synthesized various artistic elements of the avant-garde of his time.
The theme of her art works was influenced by an indigenous aesthetic and a high degree of social commitment, which was a fundamental part of her production as an artist.
Getting to know her art
Her main works include nudes of women, portraits and works of a naturalistic nature. Among her best-known paintings are India desnuda, Simón Bolívar, Limeña, Caballo Verde and La Palabra.
