Spanning the period from 1983 to the present day, Stories of the Collection summarises key moments in the formation of the Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) Collection. Continuing the resumption of acquisitions for the CGD Collection in 2022, it was possible strengthen the collection's group of works by well-known artists such as Lourdes Castro (Funchal, Madeira Island, Portugal, 1930 - 2022), Jorge Martins (Lisbon, Portugal, 1940) and Ângelo de Sousa (Lourenço Marques - now Maputo, Mozambique, 1938 - Porto, Portugal, 2011).
