Creation
The Filmoteca PUCP was officially born in 2004, based on the purchase of the documentary collection of the Filmoteca de Lima that took place a year earlier.

We are located on the second floor of 925 Tomás Ramsey St. in the district of Magdalena del Mar, Lima, next to the Institute of Democracy and Human Rights PUCP (IDEHPUCP).

We have approximately 7,000 films in analog support, stored in more than 13,000 film reels of various formats and in different degrees of conservation.

The Lima Film Library restored and re-released in 1995 the oldest peruvian film that has survived completely to the present day.
