Mozambican musicians: Childo Tomás

The musician was captured by the lenses of Ouri Pota, a photographer and admirer of Mozambican music. His work presents a snapshot
of regional musical performances, highlighting the culture and audiovisual
productions of Mozambican artists and musicians.

Childo Tomás is a bassist, percussionist and vocalist, born in Maputo (Mozambique).

Sing in Ronga and play kalimba and electric bass. In 1994 he moved to Spain, settling in Barcelona.

Childo Tomás participated in major world festivals, such as: Jazz Festival in Barcelona, Jazz Festival in Rome, Blue-Note (Tokyo - Yokohama - Nagoya) and Jazz Festival in Chicago.
