Mozart for Little Ones

Les Arts integrates music into education for children with special needs and primary students through the "Les Arts És Educació" initiative.

Music helps children with special needs better understand educational content at each stage of learning. This program uses music to improve learning outcomes for these children.

A sonata designed for young children (4-10) is performed by various pianists as part of a music education program.

Maximum 24 children per session get an up-close and personal experience with the music and musicians. A monitor guides the group during the performance.

Boys and girls can enter the room accompanied by two adults. During the show, the adults watch the activity from the designated area.

The program introduces children to the piano's sound characteristics. They discover its string family, timbre, and register, building a deeper understanding of the instrument.

This inclusive activity stimulates their sensory development. During the activity, there are also a number of work challenges that build self-esteem and confidence as a team or individually.

The program uses Mozart's D major sonata (K. 448) to stimulate sensory development and encourage teamwork in young children. It's a key element of their unique musical experience.

The sonata's choice aligns with the 'Mozart Effect,' studies showing its positive impact on cognitive abilities.
