Built in 1974, the Arena Theater is part of the Main Square, landscaped by Fernando Chacel. Located between the Central Institute of Sciences (ICC) and the Central Library (BCE), it is the University's main outdoor meeting and events space. History. In 1997, the arena theater was named Honestino Guimarães, in honor of the former student leader who studied geology here. It is located in the Central Sector of the Darcy Ribeiro University Campus.

The Rectory was designed by Paulo de Melo Zimbres in collaboration with Érico Paulo Siegmar Weidle, Josué de Carvalho Macedo, and Vera Lúcia Braun Galvão. Construction took place between 1972 and 1975. It is located in the Central Sector of the Darcy Ribeiro University Campus.
