Frevo is a cultural manifestation that tells the history of the people of Pernambuco in its diversity. It was elected UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Brazil and Humanity in 2012.
The Paço
Opened to the public since February 2014, the Paço do Frevo is located in the Arsenal da Marinha Square, in the historical center of Recife. It is a center of reference of Frevo culture, dedicated to the preservation of Pernambuco customs and the encouragement of new experiences.
