In 1938, the Ćmielów company bought the rights to reproduce graphics from the "Polish Dances" portfolio on its products.

Stryjeńska included many Polish dances in her portfolio. You can find there an "Oberek", "Polonez", "Polka "or "Mazur".

Courtship

Zofia Stryjeńska attended Maria Niedzielska's school, but in 1911 she decided to go to the Academy in Munich and she studied there as Tadeusz Grzymała. In Munich she became interested in movement and rhythm, which was often seen in her paintings.

Scene on the boat

Zofia Stryjeńska was inspired by Slavic beliefs and folklore in her works. The painting "Scene on the boat" was painted with the technique of tempera and gouache.

Enrilo coffee

Zofia Stryjeńska undertook smaller orders, for example, designs for postcards or theatrical costumes. Around 1938, she was even hired to create an advertising poster for the "Enrilo" coffee.

Wedel

Jan Wedel - the creator of "Ptasie Mleczko" was a great enthusiast of promotional campaigns. He employed Stryjeńska, who created a series of packaging for chocolates.
