Venus, Romans' goddess of love, sex, fertility and beauty, is one of the most representative figures of perfection and pulcritud in art history. Her image has been used throughout history to represent the ideal of feminine beauty. Despite her different manifestations in art, the concept depicting Venus has not changed along time.
