Colonia Caroya, a city 30 miles (50 km) north of the capital, patented an artisan cheese and sausages from another galaxy. More precisely, these recipes come from the immigrants from the region of Friuli in Italy. The Regional Festival of Typical Salami is celebrated here.

Among the colorful landscapes of the north and the Sierras Chicas mountains, restaurants showcase goat from Quilino; a town which also organizes the Regional Festival every summer, dedicated to celebrating grilled goat.

Mountain vineyards

The first seeds were planted four centuries ago by the
Jesuits. Around 1878, immigrants from the Italian region of Friuli blazed a trail, and today Córdoba boasts a wine route consisting of five regions, each with its own character.

In the middle of the Sierras Chicas, the building is one of the most well-known winemaking facilities in the province. It stands out both for its architecture (reminiscent of the cathedral in the Italian city of Udine), and its regional and sparkling wines.
